(1) The claimant-appellee, Orville Wallace ("Wallace"), began working for the employer-appellant, Purolator Courier ("Purolator"), in 1976. Initially, Wallaces duties involved delivering small packages and envelopes. In 1987, Purolator was acquired by Emery Worldwide, a freight carrier, and Wallaces duties changed. Following the acquisition, he was required to deliver much larger and heavier items, some weighing as much as 200 pounds.
